About ACRA ETS
ACRA is a Milan-based Third Sector Entity and NGO committed for over 50 years to contrast poverty, inequality, and climate change. It operates in Europe, Africa, and Latin America to protect human rights and to ensure access to food, education, and water, while promoting environmental protection and gender equality. ACRA manages more than 60 projects per year, with a total annual project value of approximately €11 million. The organisation works alongside communities, local authorities and civil society organisations in each country, also through applied research, advocacy and campaigning activities.
ACRA's role in the consortium
ACRA contributes to ReMedi by supporting the monitoring and evaluation of pilot sites, with a specific focus on gender dimensions through the Women’s Empowerment in Agriculture Index (WEAI). The organisation also supports communication activities together with Eurecat. ACRA specifically works to make project data, stories and results accessible to a non-professional target, while giving visibility to local territories, communities and stakeholders.
